The knife doesn't pull straight out of the sheath. You have to pull it out fallowing the curve. Fiddle with the mounting angle on a belt till it works for you.Another thing to note. I wear an XL glove. While spinning this knife it nicked my pinky so I used some 220 grit sandpaper and blunted a centimeter of the blade right after the grip. I'm assuming the blade steel is d2 because of how difficult it was to dull the edge.Everything about this knife is solid. It's wicked sharp. The curve makes it difficult to test on paper, but it is very sharp. It's extremely comfy in the hand in both reverse and normal grip. Holds an adge for a while just a little tough to sharpen do to density.
