After following laundering instructions, the tablecloth looked like a cheap flannel shirt. The white squares puffed up and resembled gauze. I finally had an occasion to use it today, and imagine my surprise and dismay when it wasn't close to being 70". It was closer to 50"-55". It didn't fit my table at all, obviously. Of course it's too late to return it now, so I'm stuck with a tablecloth I can't use. It didn't even fit my 55" table. This happened with three other tablecloths I purchased, as I found out today when trying them all. They were all from different manufacturers, and different sellers, but all purchased on Amazon. None were even close to being 70" round. The repeat pattern is stitched evenly, but 1 or 2 extra threads are sown in randomly, leaving woven strands that cannot be pulled out or else there will be a hole.
