I cut the length cleanly with a oscillating saw with a metal cutting blade. Using a mount every 12", the install had a straight section and a curved section. It looks and works GREAT.

**Q: What is the weight limit of the curtains?**
A: That is hard to answer specifically. A lot depends on displacement of the weight via the quantity of roller hangers, the spacing of the ceiling clips and the material the clips are mounted to. Also consider the method of attachment. Screws into solid wood will hold better than plastic expansion wall anchors. Regardless, even with close spacing & solid mounting its still a plastic rail with plastic rollers so if it's really heavy material like fire resistant theater curtains then go with heavy duty metal track.

**Q: can it be cut?**
A: Yes, it can be cut down to the size by a fine tooth hacksaw.

**Q: Where can I get longer hooks for a shower curtain because my curtains would be too short? Should I use small chains**

This is so close to 5 star review. Honestly, I'd say more like 4.5, but I can't do that. It went up really well, the parts were all in good condition, and it seems to have all of the necessary parts. I put weights on it, as it recommended, for about 3 days to flatten it out. Yeah, it still curves a little, and that's to be expected. The only minor thing is that because of the curve, the ends of it won't straighten out (you may be able to see it slightly in the pictures. Overall, I'd say it is a solid purchase. I bought, separately, some clamps to hold a green screen that doesn't have grommets already in it.
