He’s the billionaire playboy who has used his money and connections to help the guys out in the past. He’s also spent the last year trying to help out his older brother, Javier.Javi has been drinking his way through most of the last year instead of really mourning the death of his wife. All the while his position as CEO of SI Industries, the family owned corporation, is quickly going downward as he lacks focus and they are not able to deliver on new products for the government.London, the cousin of Alyssa, has recently moved to Lafayette to try to start her life at the age of 25. She had a terrible accident 10 years prior which has stunted her evolution into an adult. She has many scars both actually and metaphorically.Xander fears the only way to save his brother is to drug him and drag him to Lafayette to detox and really start to recover. While this rips their relationship further apart, he’s willing to do whatever it takes. To blow off some steam in his normal way, he heads over to Sexy Sirens and is immediately infatuated with the atypical type of voluptuous girl on the stage. After initially wooing London, she runs off and becomes the administrative assistant to Javier. But then again I didn’t know much about this lifestyle.Xander was first introduced in "Belong To Me" by Shalya Black and made a few appearances in other books.He was always the billionaire player the one that didn’t want to be held down and liked to have fun.The other two characters were pretty much unknown.Javier is really torn up over his wife Francesca death and has been mourning her for a year already. All he does is drink and is letting the family business down.The thing about that is that Francesca was extremely toxic and cheating on Javier. In fact she died while she was on one of her tryst.Xander is determined to help his brother out this way of living no matter what it takes.The problem is these brothers don’t get along and are always fighting with one another.Javier blames Xander for his wife's because he asked Xander to take her in hand. Xander is a Dom, Javier believed that his brother could have taken Francesca in hand and changed her behavior.The thing is Xander never liked her and he could see right through her and see how toxic and spoiled she was.This is one of the things that kind of annoyed me with Javier, he was extremely angry at Xander for not trying to bend Francesca to his will.Meanwhile Francesca was the one that decided to run off with her lover, which ended in her demise.The brothers have a lot going on between them that’s unresolved and brewing under the surface.Now enter London who is as innocent as can be. She was in an accident and has been recovering and trying to get back on her feet for the last ten years.She hasn’t experienced much else because all of her time was spent recovering. Now she wants to live her life to the fullest and experience what she can.She meets the brother and they immediately want her. First she meets Xander and they fool around a bit.Then she meets Javier and he instantly likes her but is still his mulish self.It is hard to believe that all of the brothers problems are fixed because one woman comes into their life and they want to change everything.Javier gives up drinking and Xander gives up being a player and sleeping with anything that walks.And the brothers relationship starts to mend and they begin working together.And then Xander wanted her and saw her first, but he then decides to offer her up to his brother?I really like Xander in the other books he was in even though he was a player, this book just put him in the shadow of his brother. The way he didn’t want to be.Like when the brothers finally reconcile and let go of all the animosity between them. When they decide to help each other rather than dislike each other.London was a good in between for the brothers and I did like that she helped them connect.But there could have been more with how Javier kicked his habit by himself and how Xander no longer wanted to be a player.Wrap Up:There were some missing parts that could have added to the book that could have made it better.But Xander was a character that I really wanted to get his story but I wasn’t blown away by it. And I really wanted Xander to have his own woman to put him in his place.Would I Recommend:I would recommend this book. I would give it 3.5 stars.I did love seeing Xander and Javier find a way to mend their relationship and become the brothers they should be.There are certain parts that are unbelievable to me which did throw me off a bit. Her stories are rich in lovable characters, deep thoughts and feelings, and super erotic love scenes!! This book is interesting, erotic, well written, and sexy. The men are dominant and hot. London is sweet, sexy and smart. The plot twisted. It kept the reader interested, and wanting more. The ménage scenes are well thought out, steamy and breath-taking. I loved the story and intend to read many more of the "Wicked Lovers" novels. Fun, interesting and romantic.
