I have not used them for yoga yet, but they seem to grip the floor pretty well. I can tell that they may shift in some positions as they are not as snug as some other yoga socks I have worn. The space around the toes is kind of squared off, so there will be some movement there. I wear a size 9 and purchased the m/l. I might purchase a smaller option if there is too much movement.
