The colour is absolutely gorgeous (perhaps not quite as dark green as pictured), but I was already very familiar with the artichaut colour from other pieces, and these fit those exactly, of course. They are so well made and robust. My sister has the same set but in Marseille, and she tells an anecdote of her toddler throwing one of their mugs against their enamelled Red Wood coffee table, and the coffee table chipping but not the mug! I haven't had anything quite that dramatic happen, but I can attest the ombre is beautiful and the lip design and handle are so well thought out.
