They are thicker then a water Color brush pen & a better quality then the average brush marker. Hope that helps. **Q: is the karin mega box water base and the pro the same inks?** A: I bought that kit for my wife at Christmas so I referred them question you her. The answer is yes. **Q: What is difference between mega box and the ones with neon included** A: Hopefully this answers your question, the mega box I’m pretty sure only has 60 markers and doesn’t include the neons. The bigger box with 72 markers referred to on Amazon as just “BrushMarker Pro”includes the neons. As a lettering artist, I haven’t used the neons as much as I thought I would, so if I could go back in time, I’d probably just buy the box of 60. I do enjoy having the neons just because, but they don’t really get used very often. So if you’re looking to save some money and don’t think you’ll use the neons very much, I’d go with the smaller box. **Q: This box include the DécoBrush Metallic?** A: No it does not, it included blender brushes and neon colors. Metallics are sold in a tin set and should be stored differently than these.
