MRE itself is faded, has no visable dates, crinkled, wear marks, faded, looking nothing like the picture. Afraid to open it as to what I might find...what with all the crunchy noises coming from it. Even the sides were mediocre. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasantly Surprised after Sitting in the Trunk for 4 Years *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2020* I finally tried one of my vintage 2015 XMREs that was 5 years old and sitting in the trunk of my car for almost 4 years. I was pleasantly surprised to find the whole thing was in great shape and tasted delicious. The Southwest Style Beef tasted similar to Stagg chili, but the quality of the beef was much better than what you find in Stagg chili. There was more food in the XMRE than I normally eat for a meal, so had trouble finishing all of it. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but decided to try to coffee anyway.
