Installation took about 5 minutes for both shelves - I used the adhesive strips provided, and it was very easy. Not use how much damage they will cause when removed, but removed and adjusted one adhesive strip, and there was not damage, but the strip was only on for about 2 minutes. Might cause damage after months or years of use. Overall great purchase!
