If you have both Badger and Boar you will know the difference, Badger is softer and makes a bunch of lather but doesn't feel like it really "gets in there". Boar is stiffer and makes less suds, but really gets into your skin for a scruffy face. This brush is a weird mix of the 2. I think the bristles are too long for the stiffness . It's not soft enough to suds up and when you try to push into your skin to sud up it folds over on itself. I have only used the brush 3 times, so it may soften and work fine later, but right out of the box it just doesn't feel right and for the price there are better cheap brushes out there. ### ⭐ Broke after three months *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2016* My first shaving brush. Works great. I'm happy with my purchase and I would purchase again.Update: after 3.5 months of use the glue that holds the brush to the handle disintegrated cause irreparable damage. The brush head separated from the handle. Was a great brush till it broke. Because of the breaking after only three months of use. I'm taking this down from a 5 star review to a 1 star review. If it lasted a year, I'd leave it at 5 stars, but only 3.5 months? That's not that great.
