Review: Very sturdy - I have a large overhang and wanted some more support. These did the trick and my counter is super secure. I did add some additional wood to the cabinets to attach them to, just in case. Will buy again for my next house remodel.
Review: Heavy duty bracket, unusual application - I used these to float butcher block in our home office for the desk leaving the underside free of cabinets or legs and allowing free movement of our legs and feet. These do flex a bit, especially out near the end, but are generally very heavy duty and I am happy with the end result. Install is a bit tricky, the brackets I used all needed to mount at the same height but the screw holes weren't exactly the same from bracket to bracket so I matched each bracket to a Lazer level line and installed each as a unique piece instead of being able to use a template to predrill all the locations.

**Q: how much weigh will one bracket support?**
A: Used properly over a knee wall or inside a cabinet with 2x4 bracing this bracket can hold 300lbs per bracket.

**Q: How much weight does the 28" bracket support?**
A: Not sure how much weight but we have a granite countertop that weighs around 200 lbs.  We put the braces 16 inches apart on an overhang of 18 inches. Ask the company that is putting the countertops  in, ours told us what was needed.  It saved us hundreds by installing the brackets ourselves.

**Q: How many and at what length should I use for a 11' x 30" x 1.5" floating countertop?  It'll be supportedby ledger board on 3 walls, and weighs 160lbs.**
A: With an 11' run, we recommend 8 brackets spaced at 16" apart.

We recommend the 28x14  Large Shelf Industrial Bracket.
