Love it!  It's a good inch and a half thick and I love that it comes with a removable, washable zip-on cover.  It is everything I need for my bony butt.     Best for adjustable chair?

For me, it is just too thick to use in the car, which is why I bought it. It just felt so awkward no matter how much I adjusted my seat. It doesn't reach to the edge of the seat, and it is not comfortable underneath my legs where it kinda cuts into my legs. I am 5'4" 160 lbs. I did take it to work and use it an adjustable office/desk chair and love it!! Maybe I would have gotten 'used to it' in the car after a while, I don't know.
