I originally went into the Apple Store and bought the 42mm brown leather watch band for $150 as I prefer the official Apple branded products over third party. However, I immediately had buyers remorse; I was disappointed with the Apple branded leather watch band as it did not seem worthy of its $150 price tag. In addition, I remembered the brown leather case I had for my iPhone 5S and how quickly it dirtied and got scuffed up with normal usage. As the Apple leather watch band was the same color and felt like the same material as that case, I figured it wouldn't be long before my watch band experienced the same fate.Needless to say, I disappointedly returned to the Apple Store the next day to return the official leather band as I just couldn't justify paying $150 for a band that didn't seem to hold up to the quality I expect (and normally more than receive) from official Apple products.This lead me to start searching for alternatives and I turned to Amazon. I came across this band and the reviews seemed to be overwhelmingly positive but some pictures looked better than others, leaving me a bit skeptical that this would be a cheap, waste of money. However, I figured at 1/6 the price of the official Apple leather band, it was worth ordering and giving a shot.The band arrived quickly and it more than surpassed my expectations. It's actually genuine leather and doesn't look like fake, plastic "pleather." It looks and feels very durable and looks great with the space black Apple Watch Sport. The cost vs quality comparison of this watch band versus the Apple branded leather band doesn't even come close. And if for some reason it gets lost, dirty, or damaged, it can easily be replaced for only $25 rather than $150 to replace Apple's official band.If you're on the fence about buying this, trust me you won't be disappointed and you'll be happy you saved yourself the extra $125. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality and Style! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2015* This band is awesome. The buckle and adapters match the stainless steel case very well. The adapters fit very snug and flush. The leather is comfortable, and a few weeks in, proving to be very durable. Looks very classy. Only time will tell if the quality holds up, but so far I am pretty pleased.The only gripe I have about this band is that the stainless steel buckle that comes into contact with the underside of your wrist needs to be shaved down, or made such that it does not poke or rub against your skin. It can be irritating.Update: The seller contacted me and followed up on my satisfaction of the product. I explained the irritation on the underside of my wrist and the seller agreed to send out a replacement at no additional cost. Superb customer service.
