I always look for darker colored varieties, the color being an indication of being well toasted and/or well seasoned with soy (or a lot of caramel coloring!). These are flavorful and crisp and crunchy. Different shapes and sizes and some have tiny bits of nori (seaweed) that enhance the flavor. A common theme among the reviews of rice crackers is pricing. Expect to pay around $10.00/pound for a good high quality rice cracker. A good tasting, low-fat addictive snack alternative. I think I order at least once a month!
