Definitely made for high repetition, lower weights. Only complaint I have is that you can't get a very wide grip, or a particularly narrow grip, but as long as that doesn't matter too much, this bar is fantastic. Very comfortable for squats, thanks to the foam around the bar. Easy and fast swapping of the weights (thought it could be faster, but meh, you get what you pay for).
