Review: A trusted brand. Works very well on my Maltese. - I used True Blue shampoo for years on my previous Maltese mix. It was a slightly different version. I found it to be gentle and the scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. It left her hair soft and easy to brush. I have a new dog, a full Maltese, now whose hair is even more cotton like and more prone to matting. This version of the shampoo works great on her hair. It left her hair silky soft, and it doesn't seem to tangle as much as post pro grooming..I noticed less itchiness with this shampoo than what the groomer is using. I will definitely recommend this shampoo to her. I also used the Easy Comb conditioner post bath. I love it too. My dog seems to like it also. I really trust their products.
