Will these be sufficient** A: If you can get a correct fit with these sandals I believe they will probably work for you. The main problem (and why I sent mine back) is that they run several sizes too small. Reading through the reviews I realized that this was an ongoing problem. I ordered two sizes larger than I usually wear. The arch support was high and very solid, but the shoes (even two sizes larger) were not only too short, but too narrow, as well. I wore a 7, generally a 7.5 up to an 8. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am a size 6.5 /I ordered a 7 *by P***D on June 17, 2021* I am a size 6.5 normal width( 6 1/2) who ordered size 7 in these. I have one long toe, which it accommodated. The 7 fits an accurate 6.5 perfectly. These Sandals are a regular (not narrow not wide) width. My foot is normal width and these are not tight.. also another perfect degree of snugness. I cannot say about stretchiness, for my feet are not real snug. I hope they retain their shape over time and do not stretch. If you are craving flip flops, but your back tells you those flip flop days are over... These will indeed bring that back, in part. I remember wearing the cheap flip flops when I was a teen and going all over the place in them... No, that day is not quite coming back and since I still have a nice amount of fitness, I wouldn't even try to kill my back in doing so. The little piece between the toes feels alright for regular wear, but I wouldn't go on long walks with these... I actually cut off the plastic part around the between the toes area. I also couldn't wear Vionic for that type of long walk. Flip flops do not do that for me... I grab my sneaks for that! Compared to Vionic: I wear a 6.5 in Vionic, and Vionic at 6.5 fits like this in a 7. Furthermore Vionic sandals have a higher inner arch and harder surface that make my feet uncomfortable. Regarding hardness, though this is a bit softer than a Vionic, it cannot be said to be soft or cushy. It is a firm surface. So if you are craving something cushy like hubbies foamy flip flops, this is not it. Soft or firm, no matter... it is a flip flop style... So that said: Will you be able to run or hike in these, or walk for miles and miles? lol in flip flops? You will be able to do everything you have done in regular flip flops, but with a bit more support. So if not having support causes back issues, these may provide that relief. They are essentially flip flop style, and I don't know of anyone that hikes or runs in flip flops period! This flip flog says you can wear flip flops again, if indeed the no support flops cause back pain. My suggestion for future models: Perhaps if the base were a touch softer, short of cushy? This version has almost no give Which is ok for durability, but why not go a touch softer, especially since the straps most likely have a shorter lifespan. Also a deeper cup may add to the stability and bring up the star support rating! Lastly, I may try your shoes which are styled with out the between toe feature, for maybe a different top on this base will help bring up the walkability? Just looked and they only have in between toe models in sandals using this base...
