At first glance, it appears as if the nose would not allow any breathing room, but that is not the case at all. It is a breathable mask with a mesh panel and we did not have any issues with the panels being too tight around the nose or eyes. It is very soft and comfortable and can be worn as a ski mask, or you can slide the top part off the head resembling that of a hood, or bring it all down and simply cover your neck as a neck garter. There is a little extra material to make it more comfortable to wear around my nose and mouth. It fits an adult head nice and snuggly but can also be worn by a child.
