It did not want to peel our paint off or leave any residue. I was also happy that they laid flat with no air bubble under them. This makes the super smooth and almost looks like they were printed or painted on the wall. We love these so much and they look great. We also purchased the other star wars character set to go with these and they are a perfect match to his room decor. I would highly recommend them and they are worth the asking price. My son has light Gray walls so we cut out around the “STRONG” letters where there is a clear background (one large sticker decal) which we would have been able to see if we would have installed as it came. (If you have white walls or aren’t as crazy as I am, then you won’t have any issues with this part). Love the way it came out and for such a low price. Another good perk was we accidentally put it on off center the first time.
