It was before the sun was up and my wife yelled for them and they finally came in. She said to go check back there as they were barking non-stop at something. We have 6 smaller (westie/scottie) dogs. Anyhow when I went out there with a large flashlight I heard something that sounded like a water spinkler going off and sure enough it was a good sized rattle snake! This is why we bought this product. I used eight of them and then I also use Ortho snake-be-gone.
