The material the mask is made of doesn't allow a lot of air to pass, so whenever you breathe out you get a face full of lung. Trying to breathe through the mask by pushing it up to your mouth takes effort so I doubt any air is actually going to pass through it while wearing it casually.The filter is a little less restrictive than the mask, but it's still very restrictive. I've worn full face and half face respirators, and the filter in this is significantly harder to breathe through than any other filter I've used. With the filter in the mask it becomes very hard to pass any air through, but I don't think it matters, just as much lung is going to go back into your face.Still not impossible to breathe, unless the filters in and someone holds it to your face. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok, so it is just so CUTE! *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2020* I have never had a mask with a filter and I’m guessing I will never use that part.
