The LED's still come on but they are so dim they no longer penetrate the water like they use to, so the moonlight effects are no longer there and now have a completely dark tank again so just I took it off completely. Lights are pricey for something that wouldn't last that long. I should have known better cause the day I opened the package I knew it was cheaply made compared to past lights I have owned but took a chance on it since my corner tank is a bit of a pain to find lights for to begin with and this was fitting nicely behind the hooded light hidden from view. I did love the slim design and how easily it fit behind the already placed hood light of my corner tank which is hard to find lights for, so I took a chance on it.
