Each knife is pre-sharpened and ready to cut. 420 SS takes an edge very well and will stay sharp for a long time. The handle is made from Eucalyptus and is securely held in place with large brass rivets. Thumb notches are on both sides of the handle so you are guaranteed the same angle every time you pick up your knife.
