I was very glad to find a solderless adapter. It works as claimed. Would be 5 star, except that on one of the units out of the 8 used, the screws tightened before clamping a #22 solid wire-- the same defect rate as I experienced with the corresponding number of female adapters. The adapter is not as well shielded as pre-attached RCA jacks or plugs, but will work fine for low-impedance connections.
