The mask is on snugly and can be raised or lowered throughout the day in a pinch. Once on, the huge amount of time I used to spend fiddling with my mask loops, ears, and hair that had got caught up in the mask loops became a thing of the past. Once I had this method of just pulling it on like a lanyard I found I can easily make it work with my hair down. It keeps my long hair in place down one side too - result!I had to just try a few combinations of ways to wear this to suit my style and head shape. Easy peasy. Now, once fitted, it is something I completely forget about whilst wearing it. And since I often wear a mask throughout the day this gives me the lanyard options with zero fiddling. When I need to remove it I pinch the mask at the front and remove the whole thing like a lanyard too. Best of everything. I am back to buy my third packet as I have been giving them out to friends and coworkers as they noticed me using them and said what a good idea.
