I ordered an XL and XXL for my dog. His front paws are larger than his rear paws. The plan was to use the XXL's for the front and the XL's for the rear. I first ordered the XXL's to see what they were like. I received the XXL in new condition (or at least I think so...more below). The design and construction are decent, but not overwhelmingly impressive. Then again, these are not marketed as snow boots. For summer wear, these seem just fine. I put the XXL's on my dog and he adapted really quickly. He's a 100lbs lab. For him, the XXL's are a must for the front...though he could get away with using the XL's in the rear. It's too early to tell whether these will withstand a lot of use or not. We did go on hike and he seemed happy and his paws were fine despite walking on hot rocks. I observed no unusual wear and tear...so far so good.Now for the issues...or issue to be more precise. The issue is with the seller's practices and not the product. The XXL's arrived in new condition. At least they appeared to be new, so no problem there. I then received the XL's and these were clearly a returned item. Not only were they returned, but they were filthy (stained with dirt marks). A couple of the booties had worn rubber and one of those had a couple of puncture marks on the sole. That's unacceptable. If you wish to recondition and sell an item, you should disclose that in your ad and sell the item for less. As such, I can't say whether I can recommend these booties. If a company is willing to do something as shady as this, can you really trust their products? In the end, Amazon took care of things, but that should have never happened in the first place. And that's the reason they get only three stars. The shipping was quick, and the product seems decent, but sending a clearly used set instead of a new one knocks a couple of starts off their rating. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Needs to be Taller *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2023* My girl has very large paws, (100lb Rottweiler) these are still not tall enough. The paw size is right but they are not tall at all. They end up right under her dew claws. which look very uncomfortable. So I have to put socks underneath and velcro them above her 1st leg joint. So with that being said they are still to small. But for $14.00 I can work with that. I have spent $50.00 to $75.00 on the top brands and always end up sending them back because they are too small.
