The denim is denim, not heavy but not flimsy light either. The logo is good quality. Could definitely be worn outside the house.the only thing I would say is, because of the way the sweater is hemmed, the bottom and top buttons are unusable. And the hood string was hanging out when I opened the package. And it smelled pretty funny off the rip. but, all in all, minimal losses.
