**Q: Is good for float fishing?**
A: yes its usable for float fishing , its a pain to get the eyes to line up  i found , its a spinning rod really, quite light, i used mine for bass spinning off my boat ,  for float fishing u want some more length a float rod is 12 foot normally  which aid casting , this rod would work well as a rod to fish streams and areas where the space is tight

**Q: Can I use a Penn spinning reel on this rod or only Shimano's own?**
A: Yes I believe so I bought a Piscifun spinning wheel and it fits

**Q: Hi whats the line rating for the 1.80m 3-14g rod?**
A: 4lb to 8lb

I love the size, and the faction of the rod. Bought it to fish on holiday. However, after a couple of sessions it just snapped in two places when casting a 15g lure (I had the 2.7m 10-30g model). I wasn’t even casting far, I had not dropped or knocked the rod on anything, just a normal smooth cast and …SNAP!!! From other reviews I have read this seems to be a common fault. Shame really, because I liked everything about this rod, but pointless if it’s going to just snap for no reason. I would have given 4 stars or 4.5 if it was not for the rod snapping.
