A: Hello, This ring will accommodate a 7/16 soft shackle and it will fit up to a 5/8 diameter synthetic winch rope. Thank you

**Q: Is the coating paint? Do you have hardcoat anodized version**
A: It's definitely painted. You can see a spot on all the rings where they hung them on a dowel or something when they painted them.

**Q: Is this for synthetic rope?  Will it work if my winch cable is steel?**
