    Great Bugle head screws for most tile backer boards, I only wish they had a Torx head

When you tile a shower, bathroom or floor, you need to use special corrosion resistant screws to attach underlayment and backer board for your foundation. To attach these support boards you need to use screw that have large bugle head to hold backer boards in place to build a base for the finished project. My only complaint is that these should be made with a Torx (star head) to keep from spinning the Philips tips to install them.

Bought for use on Hydroban board.  The heads on Hardibacker screws have a more gradual radisu under the head and the head is larger.  Easier to find the HB screws and they are for the same application, exposure.  Won't use these next time as HB are more easily available and seem to be a superior screw
