It took me months but I find Origins' Spot Remover to be the best in shortening that inflammation period, and the sticker goes on when it's ready to be "flattened" and pulled out. The most satisfying is when I see the big white spot when it peels off (min is 6 hours btw), which you may need to do several rounds of before it fully comes out. Do give your skin a few hours in between to breath also. I follow with the most expensive Aloe by PHB, that is the ONLY thing so far that actually lightens my acne scars if I do it religiously. There, you just cut out a whole route of pain... see if these work for you. I'm not paid by anyone, but I feel your pain and just want someone else to short cut the experimenting.
