That one had 2 wide straps at the wrist and 1 narrow strap around the fingers. This one has 4 narrow strips replacing the 2 wider ones. My only complaint is that the topmost strap, around the fingers, needs to be about an inch longer. Since I sew, I can make this slight alteration myself. It is the only thing keeping you from getting 5 stars. Much less bulky that the one from my bone doc.Cons: a skosh too small. The next size up would be way too huge though.I like that the Velcro doesn't ruin my clothes like some. Love that!Some of the thread is unraveling, and I'm afraid a strap will fall off, so I'm putting some Essie Nail Lacquer on it in "for the twill of it." It is a lovely dark irredesent that matches pretty well.Straps are extremely hard to undo.Update: I'm looking for another brace. I don't like the fact that:1. It gets very hot and sweaty, and my skin feels like plastic when I take off the splint2. The whole thing turns, no matter how tight I make the straps.3. The worst thing is that the metal part just slips down. How annoying.4. The brace slips down too. Not 'lo profile' per se but streamlined with a stiff plastic 'bone' under the wrist & lo forearm, open completely, & have multiple straps For custom adjustments. Wish they were sold in pairs tho good buy... Ps don't wear while practicing piano for six hours... I got s little bruise on my dominant hand from the 1 1/2 octaves stretch lol!
