**Q: is there a button to turn off the steam after you iron few shirts?**
A: Yes you can put it on a keep warm setting if you want to keep it ready to steam again after a few minutes, or you can turn it off completely inbetween steaming

**Q: Would this steamer be suitable for use in a hard water area?**
A: As part of the general care for these you have to regularly descale. I would say if you use it everyday then you may wish to descale more often than suggested to ensure you keep it in good condition, and perhaps think about using purified water?
