Yesterday, arriving at my local rocky beach before dawn, I was again getting nothing for the first hour. Switched over to the sidewinder, and within 20 mins I had a 3 pound bass and a pb 7.5 pounder! For 25g lures, they don’t cast as far as I’d have expected, but bearing in mind the big one took literally at my feet, it probably doesn’t matter that much.
