But it can be quirky too, and unfortunately support is slim to nonexistent. A few of my files would not play at all, and I have no idea why. On a few others there was a picture but no audio and for those I had to do quite a bit of trial and error experiments with the recording software I was using but after awhile I figured out what I was doing wrong. The remote control seems to have a limited range, and it apparently it uses the same frequency as my Sirius radio and turns it on too when I hit the power button. Overall, I am quite pleased with this unit, and particularly happy that I’ve found an alternative to burning DVD-R’s. It will come in very handy for travel.
