I need something that has good resistance to compression and will spring back to shape quickly when compressed.** A: This foam was very springy. It will pop back if compressed. But do not put it any place that you need to take it off off without major hassle. I put it around two patio doors and when I went to take it off? It took me an entire day with an adhesive remover and a scraper to get it all off. It was quite the chore. But yes....
