Have a two story fire escape ladder, but I recently realized that I would no longer be able to carry my cats down since they are now full grown and weigh 12lbs each. I needed a bigger bag/carrier to get them down safety in case of an emergency. The bag is well made and the rope is plenty long enough. I tested it out to see if my two cats would fit and hold up inside the bag. The bag holds up fine with two 12lb adult cats in it.
