This is the typical cheap metal handle you get when you buy a cheap broom, but it will still hold up for the purposes of squeegeeing your floor. That being said, the squeegee itself is very cheap; basically just cheap foam. However, it will still work to move water around, which is what I need it to do at the fair price of $19. We are going to start ordering replacements and hopefully, the handle will prove to be sturdy enough to outlast many replacements. We also use the other window cleaning squeegee for the barn floor when we want to be VERY detailed and again excellent!
