Review: Magic! - Rarely will I write a review of a skincare product without a month of using it. Never, actually. But this is close to miraculous for me. I have a combination of rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis on my face and eyelids. I have lost almost all of my eyebrows and frequently lose more than the usual amount of lashes. I have tried everything available in stores and have been to the dermatologist to no avail. (She told me I had a yeast infection and actually prescribed 10% ketonazole shampoo and told me to wash my face with it, leaving it on for 5 minutes. This did absolutely nothing and actually burned my skin. I should have known better.) And it seems, reading on line, that the doctors are universally befuddled. Searching the internet, seeing everyone's frustrations with these skin conditions, finally from a California Plastic Surgeon's blog I stumbled on, I learned about these 2 conditions in addition to the over activity of demodex mites that we all have on our skin, that some researchers feel may exacerbate or even cause all of these problems. And from her blog I learned about Noble Soap and Noble Formula cream as well as what product ingredients aggravate these conditions. I washed my face with the soap the instant I opened the box from desertcart and then followed it with the cream. The redness was calmed IMMEDIATELY. It has been 2 days - 48 hours - and every time I apply the cream I am impressed with the calming effect. Clearly it works calming the rosacea and time will tell if it does anything for the seborrheic dermatitis but I am extremely hopeful. I wish I had taken a before picture. And I will write another review after a month. I am delighted to be able to get these items from desertcart Prime. But my question is, Big Box Retailers and Major Drugstore Chains (you know who you are), why aren't you carrying these products?! I asked my local giant drugstore chain pharmacist and he knew about both the soap and the cream and knew the virtues of the active ingredient, 2% zinc pyrithione. He offered to mix me up a batch in some cream if I could get my dermatologist to write me a prescription for compounding. Seriously? I went straight home and got on desertcart. This is inexpensive enough that it is worth trying if you have exhausted all other options. The cream is very creamy as is the soap. A little goes a long way.
Review: My Sixth Jar - This formula helps keep my lifelong troublesome skin in check - as long as I use it religiously. A few days off and the skin is broken out again. So it's not a cure - yet - but it helps more than anything else I've ever used that wasn't a prescription cortisone cream. Aristocort (R) prescription (no longer available) was the first cream (not ointment) that helped back in 1971. I've had this issue on different body parts since the 1950s. Update: I'm now on my fourth jar. Quick suggestion. Since a little goes a long way, use a small spoon, dip fingers into the spoon (instead of the jar) and *then* apply to skin. Wash the spoon. This eliminates the finger-in-the-jar transfer that often contaminates the rest. Works for me and jar lasts much longer this way. I would actually like a pump jar to eliminate the spoon altogether. Later: So I took my own advice and transferred contents into a small pump bottle. This eliminates the spoon. Just in case cream is affected by light, I keep it in a dark drawer. Will look for an opaque pump jar for the next order. OK, July 8, 2015 Fifth Jar Small pump bottle works fine - instead of putting my fingers into the jar every day = contamination issues. After a few months the cream always smells a bit "rancid." Could be the container was not opaque enough. So, this time I purchased a truly opaque bottle also from desertcart (Infinity Jars 100 Ml (3.4 Oz) Black Ultraviolet Glass Push Pump Bottle). Very expensive bottle but truly opaque. The neck is very narrow so I spooned almost the entire jar into a plastic sandwich baggie and piped it gently into the narrow opening. It pumps very well and I hope the very dark environment will help preserve the contents. May I suggest Noble Formula do something like this. A $40 jar lasts a long time but not if it becomes contaminated by fingertips or containers that are not dark enough to preserve it. Update June 17, 2017: The *Infinity Jars 100 Ml (3.4 Oz) Black Ultraviolet Glass Push Pump Bottle* jar (from desertcart) worked! I was able to keep this cream fresh for nearly 2 years. As before, it works to soothe redness, fresh bumps and itchiness but still does NOT cure. I only use a little as the irritation gets worse in the winter with a more "closed in" environment. The black glass and pump delivery system which keeps air and other contaminants out are key. If you use this cream, please consider transferring to another container if this fairly expensive cream goes rancid sooner than you'd like.

**Q: Do you think this is safe to use on the scalp?**
A: I used it on the backside of my ears and forehead. I think that it is. It's Hydrocortisone and Pyrithione Zinc.  At this time I've stopped using it because I've been getting better results from the Noble soap without the Hydrocortisone. This is my routine morning: -Wash and shampoo face and head. -Use a selenium sulfide shampoo on affected areas.  Wait 5 min rinse. -follow up with Noble zinc soap all over scalp and face then rinse. -out of shower I apply the steroidal cream prescription to affected areas. Every day. I will only use this noble formula HC if I run out of my prescription steroidal cream

**Q: Has anyone used this for your scalp? I have quite severe dandruff just on the very edge of my scalp & I just bought the shampoo...**
A: I haven't used it on my scalp, but this stuff is amazing.  I get the same type of flaking on my face that I do on my scalp and this stuff does the trick.  I swear by it!

**Q: Can you use on children 1 and older?**
A: I have no idea if it is applicable to children, maybe it can be because it is only a topical cream and the container doesn't write anything that cannot be use for children
