I received it new in a plastic wrap. This truly is an item made with smart design decisions. The top area can hold your charger, maybe your PSP as well. It's a tight enough fit, so that nothing easily falls out. There are three other tiny pouches for games, and memory cards. The see-through design was a wise choice, as I can see what I am looking for. The fit is pretty tight to keep games/cards secure. The handheld goes in the bottom area. The fit is a perfect one for my PS Vita slim. It doesn't crush the triggers in at all. There's just enough space to keep it in place. Now with that said, there is a strap that the system will slide under to fit in. It fits under well without even scratching the screen, and the device stays in place. The odd thing here though, is when you have to take it out. That center strap doesn't have a removable end, so it was a little tricky to get it out, but nowhere near impossible with its light flexibility. To get it out, just place an index finger at the top of the inside, and your thumb at the bottom. Lift one side, and slide it out. That's about the only very minor issue. The outside is quality leather. It feels just right between softness, and roughness. It has no bad smell, but only a fresh new one on it. The zippers work well. They aren't too tight, or too loose. There is even a strap that attaches outside to allow other attachments. This case looks, and feels built to last.Overall, if you are looking for a great traveling case to hold your slim Vita system, you found it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Case for a good price *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2016* I was kind of worried about the pouches for the game cards because I thought they would slip out, but I was wrong. Really impressed. When you put the game cards in, it's a tight press meaning you can fit probably 2 or 3 in each pouch. I recommend 2.Also the pouch for the charger is great. If your like me, you probably don't take your chargers with you. I mainly use it for my. Yes my phone fits in it. I have a Galaxy S5 and its a perect fit. I don't recommend anything bigger then an S5.The strap holds the Vita tightly and it leaves no scratches on the screen. I just recommend lifting the strap when taking it put because it could mess up your analogs.The case is pretty solid. The highest that I have dropped it from was 5 and half feet. Nothing was damaged inside. It can probably survive 8 ft drop but I don't recommend unless you have the money too replace it.Then the price is just right.
