I’m so glad I did! I have to agree with all the positive comments. This thing is heavy duty and well made. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t wobble. Very happy with my purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent quality, but something to be aware of *by A***R on January 5, 2025* The build quality of this item is outstanding. Thick steel throughout and extremely durable. The padded seating and rollers are also high quality. One example of its quality is the rod holding the weights. Instead of using a tube, it is a solid bar. This may be a bit overkill because it doesn't take much weight to provide adequate workout resistance. I put 70 pounds on it, and it was very difficult for a leg extension and impossible to go full range of motion on the leg curls. Anyway, the extra steel is highly welcomed and gives it a near commercial gym quality feel. Another example of the quality is that it came with real forged steel chrome plated wrenches for assembly. Not the stamped sheet metal kinds. This doesn't add a lot of cost to the item and is a really nice touch.Worth noting though is due to its pendulum-based design: The resistance through the range of motion is very low at the start and very high at the end. To balance this out, I am using a long resistance band to apply some tension at the start. There seems to be plenty of places to wrap around (e.g.: the weight bar and the handles at the opposite end). It would be ideal if the application of resistance bands was incorporated into the design and an explanation of the load profile with just the use of weights.Regardless of the load profile work around, I still give the item five stars because the quality and value of this item is just that good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Home Gym *by R***2 on March 14, 2025* This item is an absolute surprise. I thought because of the price I would be at least be a little disappointed. I was wrong, this thing is a beast. Not quite commercial quality but excellent home gym equipment. Directions were well written, item was WELL packed. If you have a ratchet less than 30 minute assembly time.
