Unfortunately while putting it together, the top metal piece that attaches to the wooden base did not have long enough bolts to attach the rest of the hardware. I had to manually sand the wood until I could fit it together properly. I would have just returned it, but I didn't want to deal with finding something to ship it back in, since what it was shipped to me in was destroyed in transit. It looks and works great, but I am giving myself more credit for that than the company that produced it. For the price we paid, no one should have to go through that much trouble.
