The interior cooking surface is made with T-304 stainless steel and the exterior surface is T-400 series stainless steel. If you put the heat too high it will burn or make your eggs stick. For example my non-stick pan takes longer to heat and cooks 5 eggs at a 8/9 on my stove. This pan works at 4/5 and cooks faster. The handle feels great. This pan is better than all the other pans I have, I have revere ware, I have Oneida, greenpan, JA Henkel , better homes and gardens, pampered chef, ,cuisinart, and whole market that I’ve bought or received over the years. I bought this pan last November to test it before I decided to purchase more. Let’s just say I am buying more now a year later after using it all year. Considering it cooks so well, is made without al the other harsh chemicals that the other companies use, and is made in America. I am confident after a year I will have these for my lifetime.
