I wouldn't recommend putting in more than 1/4 cup of kernels as a time, as they pop faster than they blow out. If you don't use butter, the popcorn is literally so dry that salt will not stick to it. Use caution where you set it up- this thing sometimes blows some of the popped corn clear across the counter instead of dropping into the bowl. It also blows some of the kernels out before they start popping.
