The only problem is were it is mounted on the SKS as the rear dust cover is on most of these rifles do have a certain amount of slack in them which is not the sight's problem. I bought the sight for my SKS as a carry rifle on my atv for the occasion coyote, coon, skunk, etc. that "pops" of on ditch/field riding. With some trial and error of the sighting process it will be working accurately enough for the job intended -- it is not intended for "tack driving" -- seems to be made of quality materials and rugged enough to take the atv mount. Review: I never recommend anyone put aftermarket "bubba" crap on their SKS - Improved my shooting immensely, I never recommend anyone put aftermarket "bubba" crap on their SKS, this definitely isn't that. Solid piece, the hardest part was removing the original sight, check youtube for some tutorials. Also required that I carve about 1-2mm of wood out of the stock for a proper fit.
