My remote is a 893lm, my openers are commercial logic 5, no colored learn button, just a button on the circuit board labeled “Radio”. I had to put this remote in mode 2 then it worked fine! I was happily surprised. I had thought I purchased the wrong one.

That depends on what contact routing frequency receiver board is in your lift unit. If it is the ZR-4258 board it should work. The exception would be models that were built between 7/12 and 9/19. Those operated with a variable sine frequency that would most likely work but may require copper antenna to allow for modulation fluctuations. Contact manufacturer if in doubt.
