Review: Definitely a money saver! - I had a 6 volt battery from a Honda Trail 90 which I'd tried to save by using an old 6v trickle charger in 45 minute increments, but it would not hold more than 4v tops. This battery maintainer brought it back from the dead, and it's still holding after two weeks of inactivity. This item works exactly as promised, just like all the Deltran products I have purchased. Definitely worth the money, especially since batteries do not like sitting over the long winter without being charged. I have to special order dry 6v batteries to my rural Alaska location, or pay $45 every year for local products.

**Q: how to hook up on a vintage 6volt positive ground vehicle?**
A: I have a 6v positive ground Dodge Power Wagon. When i charge it i disconnect the battery cables so as to not fry any other parts.

**Q: will the 6 volt tender work on old British motorcycles that have a positive earth wiring?**
A: This 6 volt Battery Tender will work on a positive ground vehicle. You will need to put the red connection on the positive post and the black connection to the negative post. Whether it is positive ground or negative ground vehicle.

**Q: Will this charge a 6n4-2a-4 battery for my motorcycle?**
A: If it is a 6 volt battery, yes, but most motorcycle batteries are 12 volt, so you probably need a 12 volt charger. I use this 6 volt charger on antique cars.
