Review: The Seasoning with plenty unexpected Lagniappe yet with a hint of Je Na Seis Quoi! - My Mama introduced me to this Cajun Seasoning as I am a Enthusiast Herb and Spice Connoisseur!!! Because I thought I had the right mix going- I ignored her pleas to try it(having tried many mediocre Cajun Seasonings… wow was I wrong for waiting!!!! This isn’t your grandpa’s Cajun Seasoning! It works with everything at everyone’s comfortable heat level! There’s even White Pepper for folks that can’t use black pepper. The Sodium is perfectly balanced!!! Now flavor!!! Leaving out the common Cajun Flavors, this EXCELLENT Seasoning is OLD SCHOOL GREAT!!! It is a perfect balance of Onion-Garlic-Heat-Peppery- and controlled Saltiness. Think like an Excellent Steakhouse Seasoning. It’s so decadent, and layered in palate that I was sure it had MSG- but No. They did it Honest- right here in the heart if Acadian Louisiana in the USA’s best culinary zone in my opinion. The flavor goes with everything, cooks lightyears easier than Cayenne Pepper that I love, and takes on a different flavor profile with different dishes. Just a nice blend of these basics, not scrimping on the red pepper. I was going to use it at the table, but found that it's more useful (to me) for cooking - YMMV. I'm from Louisiana originally & really love hot spicy food, and this stuff has a really nice kick. It's simple & it great! NOTE: It's red pepper, so try not to sneeze in your food!! lol

My Mama introduced me to this Cajun Seasoning as I am a Enthusiast Herb and Spice Connoisseur!!! I love HOT & I love SPICY... this is BOTH. The ingredient list is very simple: salt (relatively low: 8% DV), red pepper, black pepper, and granulated garlic -- NO MSG or superfluous ingredients or additives. Just a nice blend of these basics, not scrimping on the red pepper. I was going to use it at the table, but found that it's more useful (to me) for cooking - YMMV.
