I do mostly white rice, not the dual cooking with veggies, but for white and brown rice, it's been perfect. Top is easy to clean if you rinse rice or use Jasmine. With basmati unrinsed it can be very starchy, and steam will bubble on top a bit, requiring a wipe up. Rice still comes out great.
