This is a great light for camping. The different color modes of the light from White to warm white really helps set the mood you want in your camp. For me I am very sensitive to the color of the light and the warm white is very pleasing and comfortable for me. In fact this was perhaps the only LED lamp with warm white light. And I am glad I bought this as this turned out to be the perfect light for my needs. The size, color, brightness and battery life was just what I need. There was definitely some serious thinking that went into this design.The battery life is very good and you can vary the intensity of the light from dull to bright. Personally this light has served us well during camping and perhaps the only thing I would buy next is another light from the same brand for the those occasions when you need greater brightness / intensity for big groups outdoors. Inside the tent and for a family of 4 this light is perfect. In fact we often use this with the brightness level much lower than its full capacity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Warm light lantern! *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2016* Awesome lantern. With 4 light modes, it is really useful. My favorite feature was the warm light option and candlelight option. Not quite as bright as the cool white, but much more comfortable on the campsite. Reading a book to the candle mode put me to sleep like a baby. The other three light modes have brightness adjustment by holding the button and it will slowly dim until you release. No permanent batteries to go bad over time, and uses AA batteries which are cheap and everywhere. With all the rechargeable, solar, dual battery options, and power bank options I decided on this one. Keep it simple. Built solid, apparently by a German company, and held up great to 3 weeks of camping.
